KAMAAL HAI - the story behind the song by: Sheela George
This beautiful song, “Kamaal hai” was conceived and birthed in May 2013, during our Europe ministry trip organized by Pastor Rodrick Gilbert. We had ten days of blessed ministry in Switzerland in fasting, praying for the nations and a grand Pentecost Day celebration meeting as the finale attended by people from all over including Jewish Christians. After that we traveled to Spain, France and then to Germany. Each day was packed with gospel/healing meetings, prayer walks in the city, open air evangelism - worshipping & preaching, speaking on radio with a little bit of exploring the beautiful cities, magnificent art and cathedrals.
God did amazing things, beyond our understanding, in every place that He took us. Our hearts were overwhelmed with the testimonies of God’s powerful move and His miraculous works in the lives of people; healings - both spiritual and physical.
With a heart full of gratefulness to God for using us for His glory, we were at the Barcelona airport looking forward to our long onward journey to Canada via Zurich. At the airport, while waiting to board the flight, God gave both the lyrics of chorus & music simultaneously to Pastor Wilson George. He immediately recorded it on phone. During the course of that flight in air he wrote the words of one stanza - ‘Aasmaan zameen ki barkatein....’ And he wrote the remaining three stanzas after we came back to India from the blessed Canada ministry.
